Position:  Director of Human Resources

  • Description: To ensure efficient, effective, and ethical functioning of all items related to Human Resources, Professional Development and Continuing Education.
    • Responsibilities:
      Create, review and update HR policies & procedures as needed and ensure compliance with State and Federal laws.
    • Advise supervisors on HR policies and procedures and communicates any changes to ensure proper compliance.
    • Advise supervisors on company policies regarding equal employment opportunity, compensation and benefits, and other applicable State and Federal laws.
    • Review and makes recommendations to Executive Management for improvement of agency's policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters.
    • Participate in Executive Management Team.
    • Ensure alignment of HR strategies and practices with the mission, objectives and business plan of the agency.
    • Assist with accreditation process and maintenance.
    • Communicate employee benefits; seeks cost-effective alternatives for annual plan renewals.
    • Facilitate access and maintenance of staff health benefits during yearly enrollment, at eligibility, and as needed.
    • Coordinate employee leave in accordance with FMLA guidelines.
    • Administer worker's compensation and unemployment compensation claims and compliance.
    • Coordinate distribution of annual employee satisfaction surveys and documents results.
    • Revise/update employee handbook as needed.
    • Input, maintain, audit and ensure confidentiality of personnel files.
    • Input and maintain staff database and monitor I-9 tracking.
    • Maintain Credentialing Staff Roster reports for insurance companies, update new hire credentialing packet as needed.
    • Create, review and revise job descriptions. Distribute new position announcements internally and externally.
    • Is a point of contact for employees to assist with any questions and/or concerns.
    • Maintain and monitor online learning program for compliance with COA, ISI and contract training requirements.
    • Review professional development plan annually or as needed.
    • Communicate changes and updates in staff training requirements to department leaders and staff.
    • Coordinate and provide HR Management Training for management staff.
    • Conduct new hire orientation; update employee orientation annually or as needed.
    • Arrange for continuing education seminars and on-going trainings for clinical and administrative staff, maintain CEU provider licenses.
    • Coordinate continuing education seminars for community mental health professionals.
    • Abide by the ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards of Intervention Services, Inc.
  • Qualifications, Education, Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Management or a related field of study from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree preferred
    • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
    • Successful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI

Position: Psychiatrist

  • Description: To provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, ARNP and Peers supervision and leadership for the Outpatient and Clinic services for multiple sights.
  • Responsibilities: 
    • Abide by the ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards of Intervention Services, Inc.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation and licensing standards as well as agency policies and procedures. ­
    • Ensure the provision of high quality and timely access to client services. ­
    • Maintain regular communication with the Program Director, including potential liability issues or significant incidents that put the agency or the clients at risk.­
    • Provide effective and efficient psychiatric evaluations, explanations of psychiatric evaluations to family members and medication management.
    • Provide peer reviews for cases that have been seen by other doctors and nurses at ISI.
    • Ensure that prescriptions for medications will follow the formulary lists provided by the funders whenever possible. Written prescriptions will follow state and federal rules and regulations.
    • Ensure the supervision of ARNP and Other MD’s and be sure that they are following ISI procedures and that the documentation is in compliance with the Medicaid Community Mental Health Manual requirements for progress notes.
    • Ensure that every office will comply with a treatment plan for cases.
    • Being available for emergency consultations and respond to these emergency calls in a timely manner.  
    • Identify complex clients in order to respond appropriately to the client’s medical needs.
    • Ensure appropriate communication between the staff regarding the PCP and the coordination with other professionals as needed.
  •  Qualifications, Education, Experience:
    • MD, Florida psychiatric license and at least two years post licensure experience providing direct services in the clinical specialty area
    • ­Successful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI.
    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance, and successful motor vehicle driving record background check.

Position:  Outpatient Services Clinician (Maitland, Rockledge and Kissimmee Offices)

  • Description:To provide in-home and in-school clinical services for children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Responsibilities: 
    • Work independently to provide clinically effective services to clients, including in home-based and in school setting, based on the needs of the case.
    • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with various agency professionals, schools, and other community resources.
    • Provide consistent clinical services to clients assigned, following up to either resume services or discharge following missed sessions.
    • Contact assigned referrals within 48 hours upon receipt of referral to schedule intake sessions.
    • Schedule intake sessions within 10 days of assignment.
    • Adhere to and maintain a predetermined minimum amount of monthly billable services as outlined in the Rate Agreement.
    • Coordinate services to avoid billing or clinical conflicts if there are multiple providers on the case.
    • Communicate with the referral source, especially to notify him/her of the intake, discharge, or "dead file".
    • Complete client documentation, including required clinical paperwork, and submit originals in a timely manner.
    • Document missed sessions and weeks without service to be placed in the client record.
    • Obtain approval to extend cases beyond 6 months prior to the expiration date.
    • Notify the Licensed Evaluator within 5 days of referral assignment that a face-to-face evaluation needs to be done.
    • If client is under 5 years of age, clinician will ensure that they will have a Licensed Evaluator present with them at intake.
    • Participate in at least monthly supervision with the assigned Clinical Supervisor.
    • Follow HIPAA rules and ISI Policies & Procedures regarding confidentiality of client information.
    • Follow state mandated abuse & neglect reporting procedures and ISI Policies & Procedures regarding abuse/neglect of children, disabled individuals, or elderly individuals.
    • Submit Incident Reports for sentinel events, as specified in ISI Policies & Procedures.
    • Maintain a confidential voice mail phone number to be checked on a daily basis and ISI email to be checked on an at least a twice weekly basis.
    • Complete required trainings as identified by the Program Manager, Clinical Supervisor or Program Director.
    • Follow all other ISI Policies & Procedures contained in the Outpatient Services Training Manual.
    • Abide by the ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards of Intervention Services, Inc.
  • Qualifications, Education, Experience:
    • Requires Masters Degree in social work or a human services related field from an accredited college or university.
    • Prefer Licensed or Certified in the state of Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT BCABA or BCBA; OR
    • ­Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
    • ­At least 1 year experience providing clinical services to children and families.
    • Completion of the requirements to be a Community Mental Health Practitioner as described in the Florida Medicaid Community Mental Health manual.
    • Successful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI.

Position:  Bilingual Outpatient Services Clinician (Kissimmee Office) 

  • Description:To provide in-home and in-school clinical services for children, adolescents, and their families.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish is required.

    • Successful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI.
