Foster and Adoption Services

FOSTER CARE SERVICES: Foster Care Services are designed to provide a positive home environment for children who are unable to stay in their own home. Intervention Services provides traditional and therapeutic foster homes, licensed through the Department of Children & Families, for children and adolescents. The treatment program focuses on providing services to children in a home environment. It strives to reduce problem behaviors and address therapeutic issues of both the children and their parents in order to return children to a permanent home. Services are provided by trained foster parents, therapists, behavior analysts, and a psychiatrist. Staff work closely with the school and all service providers to coordinate treatment. Parent training, respite, and 24-hour on-call support are available to foster parents.

ADOPTION SERVICES: This program recruits and trains parents interested in adopting children that have been abused and neglected. Parents receive continuous guidance and support through out the adoption process, including assisting in matching parents with children, ongoing support and management of the legal process.
